Premiere Pro CS3 Settings
To use the Jog/Shuttle keyboard with Adobe's new Premiere Pro CS3, you will need to
follow these instructions.
MAC
JSM Settings:
- Download the Premiere Pro CS3 setting
here. (Right click
and choose "Save Target As...")
- Open JSM Settings, accessible through your Applications folder.
- Go to the 'Option' menu, and select "Import Setting". Navigate to the folder where you've downloaded the "AdobePremierePro.dvs"
file.
- Click on the "AdobePremierePro" file, and click 'Okay'. Then click 'Apply' at the bottom of the JSM Settings Window.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS3:
- Open a new Finder window.
- On the left side of the window, you should see a house icon with
your Username next to it. Click on this icon.
- Open the folder called 'Library'. Open the folder called
'Application Support'
, then 'Adobe', then 'Premiere Pro', then
'3.0'.
- Copy the 'Bella Hardware Layout' file, inside of the zip file available
here, into the folder.
- Open Premiere Pro CS3, and go to the 'Edit' menu, then select 'Keyboard Customization'.
- At the top of this menu, you will see it says 'Set:' and there is a drop down list next to it. Click on the drop down list, select 'Bella Hardware Layout', and then click 'OK'.
